Ardyn Barton – Board Advisor

Ardyn is a stay-at-home mom of two kids with over 10 years of experience in financial education and career preparatory training. She holds a BS in international finance and worked at Morgan Stanley as a financial operations analyst for 5 years. After that, Ardyn switched careers and worked for Morgan State University as a retention coordinator and lecturer for 5 years.

Jeff Beans – Board President

Jeff oversees interventional research studies for the National Institutes of Health and the US Department of Veterans Affairs.  His work addresses health disparities in chronically ill older adults via exercise and diet interventions. Jeff has served at every level of PLAN's structure from volunteer to board chairman and president.  He also is an elder at Faith Christian Fellowship Church in Pen Lucy.

Lindsey Culli – Board Advisor

Throughout her decade-and-a-half career in non-profit development, Lindsey has garnered over $30 million in successful fundraising initiatives for a variety of organizations ranging from grassroots community groups to major academic institutions. She specializes in corporate and foundation relations, strategic planning, and development initiatives. Lindsey holds a BJ in Journalism from the University of Missouri and an MFA in Writing from the University of Baltimore.

Chris Decamp – Board Member

Chris works in the operations and finance departments for his family’s Baltimore-based marine transportation business, the Vane Brothers Company. Chris holds a BS from Furman University and an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Andy DeVos – Board Secretary

Andy is an educator, justice advocate, and 3rd generation Baltimore resident. He served urban youth for over 15 years as a school program administrator, teacher, volunteer youth worker, and mentor. He is currently a correctional educator for the Department of Labor, where he teaches a GED program for incarcerated men at the Patuxent Institution, a maximum security treatment facility. He holds a PhD in Language, Literacy & Culture from UMBC where he is an adjunct professor in American Studies.

Ben Lydecker – Board Treasurer

Ben is an IT program manager. His work assists public sector organizations as well as private and non-profit startups. Ben holds a BA in International Relations from Wheaton College and an MBA from the University of Maryland.

Gerry Sutter – Board Member

Gerry has been working with at-risk youth since he was 11 year old. He currently teaches high school English and math and is MSDE certified in English, Special Education and Math. He also serves as a deacon of Faith Christian Fellowship Church where he works with the Men's Ministry and the Children’s Ministry.
